wallywhy150 embarks on a journey packed with speed, space and style. The 78-foot wally yacht combines the work of the skilled team of Wally+Ferretti Group Engineering Department and the interior design by Studio Vallicelli Design. The concept behind it centers on providing expansive exterior spaces, unparalleled for other yachts of its size. With its upper-deck practically being completely open, guests and owners can enjoy sunbathing or full dining settings while admiring the panoramic views to the sea.

World leader in the yacht market and part of Ferretti Group (see here), Wally combines the latest technology with contemporary design, looking at ways of improving the water enjoyment with performance, comfort and style. Founded in 1994 in Monaco by Luca Bassani, passionate and visionary yachtsman, the brand changed the entire concept of cruising with sailing and power boats with unmatched references in the design world. At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 (12-17 September), the company introduces wallywhy150 designed in collaboration with Studio Vallicelli Design, responsible for its interior design.

The exterior areas of the wallywhy150 are unmatched for a yacht of its size, boasting a fully open upper deck that provides a vast amount of protected space on top. Onboard, owners and guests can indulge in a complete dining setup, a sunbathing area, a shaded lounge, and more – practically the entire length of the yacht is open-air. Another remarkable feature is the use of floor-to-ceiling glass, which dominates the vessel’s design.

Inside the yacht, the wallywhy150 offers luxurious accommodations, including a master cabin forward on the main deck, similar to the wallywhy200, showcasing breathtaking 270-degree panoramic views and an impressive ‘amphitheater of the sea’ design due to its unusually high bow. Additional accommodation is available on the lower deck, which can be configured with 1 VIP + 1 double and 1 twin guest cabin or in a 2-VIP cabin layout. All staterooms benefit from large windows, creating a bright and modern ambiance on board.

The layout’s simplicity and accessibility make it highly appealing to a wide range of clients, providing a versatile platform for those seeking to redefine traditional planing-craft usage. Notably, it is the first vessel with direct sea access at cockpit level, eliminating the need for stairs – essentially a floating loft on the water. Meanwhile, the aft deck offers a spacious and uninterrupted area, complete with a hydraulic multipurpose ladder and a rising platform. Owners can personalize this space as they desire, accommodating various water toys and a large 3,90-meter tender (12’8’’). When equipped with optional three IPS1350 engines, the wallywhy150 can achieve a maximum speed of 23 knots, while the standard propulsion of three IPS1200 engines reaches 21 knots.
